In general terms, when the term mission is used, what is wanted is to give an idea that the action of sending something or someone is underway. While the object of that action may be an order or commission or it may be about the role or duty moral that either a person, a community or a group consider it necessary that yes or yes be carried out This is because it can bring very important benefits to a community or society, for example.
The subjects of these missions may be in charge of the governments, the Church, or some organism as we mentioned above, of a diplomat or special agent, who is entrusted by a superior to carry out this or that action, among others, and then that power that is given to someone is also known as a mission.
Human beings can find three types of missions, which have very different objectives and intentions: space mission, diplomatic mission, religious mission and mission business.
Space mission
A space mission is a particular flight that is carried out into outer space, that is, whose intention is to reach a point of the galaxy, outside the planet earth, in a ship specially destined for that purpose, and with the objectives x that are propose. Normally these missions have investigative objectives, for example to verify the presence of life or water outside the planet earth or any other type of situation.
They are usually organized and managed by a government, although there are also cases of private management.
The US agency of the Administration National Aeronautics and Space, popularly known as NASA, is undoubtedly the most important and the most active in the field of coordination of special missions to explore outer space.
The Apollo 11 space mission has gone down in history for achieving the milestone of the arrival of man on the moon. Its three crew members achieved it on July 20, 1969.
Diplomatic mission
At the level of international relations, a diplomatic mission shall be defined as that constituted by a group of diplomats representing a specific nation to which they are designated in another country to carry out actions that are mainly related to to do with the strengthening of relations between the two nations involved in the bilateral relationship.
These missions are usually based for a long time in offices specially arranged in the country. Host and the duration of their administrations are usually linked to that of the governments that determine them.
Religious mission
Religious missions are those settlements or colonies established, organized and directed by missionaries whose main objective is to evangelize the inhospitable territories in which they are established and in which of course until their arrival nothing was known about the word of God. Meanwhile, humanitarian aid and literacy are usually the two objectives that these organizations after making the sacred word known. One of the maximum references of missions that we find, if we dive into history, is the Mission that Jesuits established in South America, more precisely in the countries of Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil and Uruguay, followed by similar activity that the Franciscan order carried out in Southern California and California from the North.
Business mission
For its part, the business mission is the reason for being of a company, that is, it consists of the fundamental activity that it deploys, the product it offers and the customers to whom it directs its activity. These three pillars on which it rests are the ones that command and organize this mission in the various activities that it must carry out to develop it.
