The verb nouns They can be defined as the moment in which a verb acquires functions or behaves like a noun. Therefore, in this case the verb does not refer to the action as such, but is projected as the subject or direct object of the sentence. When this occurs, the verb is generally not conjugated at any time since it does not affect another element. In this way, the verb always has to be in the infinitive.
For this reason, a verbal noun is an unconjugated verb that takes the functions of a noun, either as a subject or as a direct object of the sentence; As subject, the verb in the infinitive (verbs ending in -ar, -er, -ir); As a direct object, it can have, in addition to the infintive, a particle that can indicate how many people it refers to:
