Lasagna is a typical dish of Italian cuisine that is made from thin sheets of pasta that are filled with meat, tomato, vegetables, and onions are usually cooked with oil made of olives.
This dish presents a great variety of possibilities, since there are lasagna of all kinds (minced meat, vegetables, tuna or chicken) and very different ingredients can be incorporated. In any case, it is an easy to cook and very nutritious dish.

Not surprisingly, this version runs counter to Italian historical sources, which present documented testimonies of lasagna from the early 14th century.
