Example of Invocative and Indicative Verbs
Spanish Classes / / July 04, 2021
The invocative verbs or indicative are those that are commonly used to express the actions we carry out.
All can be invocative verbs (indicative) since they can all be conjugated from the infinitive to the following tenses: present, past perfect, past imperfect, past perfect, past simple, future simple, future perfect, compound conditional and conditional simple.
These do not have a particular rule, but rather they adjust to the patterns of time and the person in which they are going to be conjugated, for example: if the verb in the infinitive is to eat, the invocative (indicative) in the present of the first person is: como and the past simple is: ate.
