The term marker is the one used to designate those instruments of writing that can be found with inks of different colors and that generally have a thicker line than that of a pen. The markers, also known as fiber, fibron, down or marker depending on the country from Latin America in which we find ourselves, they can be described as pencils that have their own ink which is embedded in species of felts or sponges.
Unlike the older types of feather pens, markers are instruments of to write They have their own dose of ink, which is embedded in small sponges or felts that are placed inside the marker. Through the soft and porous tip, normally rounded and thick, the markers can then generate a more noticeable and important line than a pen, plus they can be found in countless colors.
Markers can be found in a wide variety of options, some being special to highlight (in which case they have inks fluorescent and usually with flat tips to cover the entire line to be highlighted), others to write on blackboards, others permanent and other watercolor. Normally, permanent markers are for use on surfaces where ink tends to fade and therefore they resist and last longer than others that can be erased with
Water or alcohol. Non-permanent markers are ideal for surfaces that require constant writing and erasing, such as school blackboards and chalkboards. In addition, we can also find special markers for artists and for students of different artistic branches such as He drew or graphic design. These markers are usually more expensive and have greater durability, the better quality ink, more vivid colors and are in different sizes.
