From some plants, seeds and natural resins it is possible to extract aromas. This is what happens with incense, which can be made from a mixture of different elements: resin resins. wood, vegetable gums, essential oils, roots and leaves.
It comes in various forms: bamboo sticks, cones, liquids or grain. These elements are burned to give off an aromatic smoke. Thus, the essences of the substances used evaporate and a smoke with aromatic effects is released. The container in which this aroma is prepared is a censer.
