The nest is a place with shelter characteristics and is used by many animals to procreate, especially in the first moments after their birth. Generally, the nest is the space chosen by oviparous animals, which are those whose reproduction consists of laying eggs, then, the nest is the space chosen to place the egg and take care of it until the birth of the young. Birds, reptiles, insects, fish and amphibians belong to this group and, for example, they breed in this way.
The birds, the queens of the nests
Birds, without a doubt, are the species most associated with nests. The females deposit the eggs in the nest and hatch or incubate them by sitting on them to provide them with heat and thus achieve that the embryo develops in a compliant manner. Once the chicks hatch, which marks their birth, they are raised for some time in the same nest.

Other uses
But there are more uses of this word, less widespread than the indicated references, but which are also often used in our language… The place where people who do not have a good reputation gather is called a nest and also the place where some issue that is harmful to health is born or accumulates. Nest of thieves, nest of bacteria, respectively.
