The term maritime is the one used to designate all those elements, phenomena or circumstances that take place in the sea, one of the largest known aquatic forms. Maritime can be a type of animal, also a type of situation (such as an accident) or a type of phenomenon that takes place in such a place, such as the training corals, among many other examples.

The sea is one of the most important aquatic forms on the planet after the oceans. One of its most distinctive characteristics is that it is always made up of Water salty since in it the proportion of minerals is much higher than, for example, in the waters of lakes, ponds, rivers or springs. The different seas of the planet are part of the oceans, serving as minor geographical divisions: for example in the Ocean Pacific we can find many seas of greater or lesser size that are distinguishable by elements such as currents, coasts, etc.

The sea is an element of great importance not only for human beings but also for the life of many other living beings. Although its water cannot be consumed because it has this high proportion of sodium, the human being resorts to the sea for many other reasons, being fishing, the

transport and the extraction oil some of the main and most important.

When we speak of maritime we are then referring to all the things, elements or phenomena that take place in this wonderful natural space. In the same way that there are animals and plants that live in certain types of terrestrial environments, the environment maritime has its own types of flora Y fauna. In addition, thousands of specific phenomena occur in it that have to do with its particular characteristics and that, therefore, cannot occur in other water courses. A clear example of this are the coral reefs, one of the most impressive maritime spectacles.
