Information is a set of meaningful data that structures the thought of living beings, especially of human beings.
In the different sciences and disciplines of academic study, information is called the set of content elements that give meaning to things, objects and entities in the world through codes and Models. Information is vital for all activities of both human and other living beings. Animals interpret information from nature and their environment to make decisions, much like plants. The human being, however, has the ability to generate codes, symbols and languages that enrich the information, modify it, reproduce it and recreate it constantly, giving it new senses.
For the computing, by case, the information is the set of organized and processed data that constitute messages, instructions, operations, functions and any type of activity that takes place in relation to a computer. The processor of the same requires information to fulfill an order received, and all computational task implies the
exchange of an informative data from one place to another. This not only happens electronically inside the computer, but it is also natural to the actions that any user executes with a computer.Among them, write a document of text, editing an image, playing or recording a video, operating a calculator are all operations that involve an income and egress of information. Mainly, those activities linked to the Web have to do with the search for information: navigating Internet, consult encyclopedias, exchange messages with friends and acquaintances, create a blog, and so on.
Currently, it is considered that we live the information age and that today's societies find their main foundation in the exchange, generation and recreation of all types of data and content globally.
