The concept of ovine is widely used in our language to refer in a general way to sheep, that is, those that have wool in their bodies, such is the case of sheep.
Sheep, as it is formally called at the request of livestock, and as also happens with cattle (cows), equine, (horses) or swine (pigs), consists of a set, a series of animals, considered grass, because they feed on it, and that are they breed together for commercial purposes, either to consume their meat, or as in the particular case of sheep to trade in their wool.
Since ancient times, humans have used these animals to survive, that is, they first used them to feed themselves, through the products they produce naturally, such is the case of milk, and shelter themselves with their wool, but then with him to run of the time, it was considered his exploitation as a way to obtain succulent economic benefits. This resulted in the practice of sheep farming which is undoubtedly one of the most profitable in the world, since for example in the case sheep and goats are raised to then obtain their skin, their wool, their meat and their milk.
So, basically the exploitation of this type of cattle allows to manufacture objects and leather elements thanks to the use of their skin; the wool that they possess in enormous quantities is extirpated and with it they can make yarns and fibers of the most various kinds, which can be used at an industrial level or at home to knit a sweater that has arrived warm the winter.
In the present It is possible to find hundreds of breeds of sheep scattered throughout the world, even living in the most dissimilar habitats thanks to their ability to adapt to different climatic conditions, from deserts to moutains.
