It is known as a horn to that tool intended to produce an alert or a notice about the recipient of the same. Generally, it is used as a super important element that could never be missing so much in the design like in the manufacturing of a car, since it is precisely through it that the driver of a car can warn another, or a pedestrian, depending on appropriate, on different issues such as your step or to indicate that you have committed some bad maneuver that almost causes the clash between both of them. And in the case of pedestrians to tell them not to cross if the driver warns from afar that it is the intention of the pedestrian.
The horn is composed of a rubber pear and a trumpet that are presented together and the mechanism of action is very, very easy, the pear is pressed, then the air comes out of the trumpet, thus generating the characteristic sound of the horn. Although the benefits of technology have made this instrument today observe a performance by electric power.
And when talking about the horn, inevitably and hand in hand, the discussion and controversy arise over its indiscriminate use and without think in the neighbor that many drivers of cars, buses, trains and subways, carry out the same and that is one of the great problems that integrates what is known as contamination sound and that worries so much those who fight to reduce this type of pollution in cities.
Because of course, the horn is one of the great concerns and presences in the metropolis and as such is that in In recent years, in many parts of the world, its use is controlled and it is typified as a contravention in many communal laws.
The convention states that only short and repeated touches of the same will be allowed in case of preventing an accident, as we mentioned before, to show our presence to those who want to pass into our lane, to indicate that we have passage as a priority vehicle or to warn the driver in front of us that we are going to pass it.
And although it is not typified anywhere, but it is agreed, it is also very common to hear the horns in unison when in a sporting context the goal of a team is celebrated or the obtaining of a championship.
