The scientific community has made remarkable advances in the laws that govern the universe. However, there is no single theory regarding its origin and purpose. In this sense, those who focus on the original formation of the universe tend to maintain the Big Bang theory and those who propose its end have developed the Big Crunch theory.
Big Bang and Big Crunch, two complementary theories
In the Big Bang theory it is stated that the universe is constantly expanding. This phenomenon is the consequence logic of two circumstances: in its original moment there was a great explosion accompanied by the appearance of expanding matter by the action of heat and, at the same time, the effect of force gravitational force between the planets slows the expansion of the cosmos gradually.
Consequently, the moment expansion contracts, there will be a definite collapse. When this happens the Big Crunch will take place, a expression English which could be translated as "the great creak" or "the great collapse".
From origin to end
Expanding matter dominates the universe in a complex combination of protons, electrons, and neutrons that form atoms. Then the first chemical elements were formed: nitrogen, helium and lithium. In this sense, it is believed that at first the cosmos was a confused mass of matter and antimatter. This reality about the early universe has been deciphered through a particle accelerator.
On a next level, the mutual attraction Gravitational causes the grouping of galaxies (according to current theories, galaxies arose from the accumulation of matter in a process of fusion). Such evolution implies the permanent expansion of space.
According to the Big Crunch theory, the phenomenon of the expansion of the universe will come to an end with a definitive contraction. In other words, instead of growing, the reverse effect will occur, that is, a large implosion in which all the galaxies will merge due to the action of high temperatures. Due to this, a large, very dense black hole will form that will absorb all the existing matter. This theory about the end of the universe is not speculative, since it is based on the observation of the explosion of supernovae that have ceased to exist after an explosion.
The Big Crunch theory is sometimes interpreted as a circular view of cosmic time.
The Great Collapse does not necessarily mean that the universe ceases to exist permanently. In fact, some cosmologists suggest that it would be the definitive step for a new beginning of the universe.
The idea of the reboot of the universe has a dimensionmetaphysics, because it reminds us of the theory of the Eternal Return that the Stoic philosophers of antiquity already raised.
