Diving can be done for both recreational and scientific purposes in the case of wanting to know and analyze thoroughly the flora and fauna that exists in the depths of every watercourse. Diving requires having a certain physical preparation and a team not only of clothing but also of breathing assisted that allows the person to stay underwater for a long time.
Diving is an activity that has become popular relatively recently, it could be said that in the second half of the 20th century. Although underwater immersion methods already existed, such activities were not developed for recreational or sporting purposes but rather for scientific and military purposes. The main objective of diving (regardless of the reason for the activity) is the adequacy of the human organism to an environment that is not natural to it in order to know the flora and fauna that live below the surface aquatic. It is considered in many
senses that this flora and fauna is enormously beautiful, colorful and exciting.Nowadays diving can be practiced not only in natural spaces such as the sea, rivers or lakes but also in artificially created spaces for such activity in order to train the body and better prepare it for the experience original. Diving involves the use of specially designed equipment so that the person can remain submerged in the water for a long time without having to come to the surface to breathe. Some of the necessary and important elements of this equipment are the oxygen tank (main element) or snorkels in case it is not intended to go very deep, regulating (the one that the individual wears in the mouth and that regulates the amount of oxygen), clothing that covers the entire body, watches, depth gauge and others accessories such as knives, compasses, rattles, etc.
