The army is that institution which is in charge of the military protection of a territory specific. The army is characterized as one of the institutions more traditional in society as it maintains an important hierarchy vertical that is rarely modified. In addition, the army also has a code of explicit and implicit laws that undoubtedly mark the conduct and the behavior of all its members.
The army is basically made up of soldiers, the name given to civilian individuals when forming part of this institution. The soldier is the basis of all military positions and as the person makes a career, adds career and achievements, that rank increases, eventually reaching the highest hierarchies. Cadets, Generals, and Captains are some of the hierarchies that can be accessed over time.
The army has been present for man since time immemorial since man has always organized himself into societies that competed with each other for territory, for resources or for various interests. Both in antiquity and in
Middle Ages and in the Modern Age man has had the support of the army to advance on other populations and face in search of different objectives, some sections of history being especially violent and warmongers. The army can be organized into different bodies according to the need for military confrontation. Among them we can mention the corps, the division, the brigade and the battalion.There are few countries in the world that do not have an army. Among them, Costa Rica, Andorra and the Vatican City are the most recognized since they do not have armed forces of any kind. At the same time, other countries that do have an army, for historical reasons have armed forces that do not operate excessively or that do not have an army. attitude especially warmongering.
