The word indubitable is a word of not very common use because it is usually associated with rather academic or scholarly areas. The meaning direct of indubitable is none other than "undoubted" and this is so since the prefix in acts as a negation of the rest of the word: doubtful or doubtful. As said, the term is used mainly in academic spaces to make reference to situations, events or phenomena that may have to watch with science or investigation scientific and that have been verified from the use of specific and particular techniques for each area. Generally, when we speak of something as indubitable, we are referring to elements or situations that are corroborated in a way practice or empirical and not of situations or phenomena that may have to do with positions or beliefs since in that sense the choice is very subjective and therefore lacks objectivity.
However, it is possible to use the term indubitable when a person is convinced that what he says is
Right, even despite not having the means or the possibilities to corroborate it scientifically, that is, what happens in most cases since not all of us move with empirical practices to base our opinions or ideas. In this way, it can be indubitable for a person that a situation is the cause or consequence of another situation, which can easily vary if the point of view of another individual is taken. What matters here, however, is to understand that something is indubitable or undeniable for a person from his subjectivity. Many times, having an indubitable posture has to do with more or less strong personalities, very confident of themselves that they can easily convince themselves of what they think, even without needing proof that demonstrate. On the other hand, an insecure person with low confidence in itself she probably has more trouble defining her positions or points of view as indubitable. In this case, however, we can say that the character indubitable that a opinion or position they may have will depend on the person and the way in which that idea is expressed and not so much on whether it is true empirically and objectively.
