Here is a summary of the book The Search
From: ALFONSO LARA CASTILLA
"The Search" is a small book that with a few words gives us great ideas. It is easy to read due to the fact that it is handled in the form of a short story that clearly exemplifies various situations, while making it enjoyable for the reader, as well as touching on an interesting topic that prompts reflection.
Personally, it fulfilled its objective, it made me reflect on many aspects that we all know but that many of us refuse to accept. As the book implies, each one of us is unique, special, thanks to the fact that we have particular characteristics, skills and aptitudes with some of which we are born and others that we develop throughout our lives based on the environment in the one we cope with and the situations we go through, which shape our experience and shape our character, personality and attitude to life.
It is of great importance that each person knows for sure his nature as Alfonso Lara tells us in the book; his capacities and limitations to be able to give the maximum and be what we should be, not settle for little, with what others tell us it should be, we have to go further, seek self-realization, constant growth, not let ourselves be carried away by situations and the environment, overdue; And of course, like everything else, achieving it is not easy, it requires willpower, conviction, decision and commitment.
Life is summarized in decision and risk, absolutely everything we live involves a decision, because there are always ways alternatives and each one of us decides which one to choose, we have that wonderful freedom and as they say, each person is the owner of his fate. We must commit to it, set achievable goals and develop the appropriate strategies to reach them. You can always be better than you are at the moment, you have to change comfort and security for risk, which brings with it triumphs and failures but is the only means that will allow us to achieve happiness longed for.
