The Chemical engineering is a branch that integrates Engineering and whose activity is devoted to issues such as design, maintenance, planning, the optimization, construction and operation of plants that intervene in the process in which raw materials are modified, formally known as the process industry.
It should be noted that this industry is responsible for the elaboration of producers that demand complex physical and chemical transformations of the matter in question.
On the other hand, chemical engineering also deals with an extremely crucial issue for these times such as the care of the environmentsince it deals with designing processes that contribute to the contamination and defense of the health of our environment.

the design of equipment and processes, in the assembly of plants and equipment, in the operation of industrial plants, in the quality control of the products obtained, environmental control, training of professionals, among others.The professional who works in this area of ​​engineering is known as chemical engineer. Then, the main job opportunity that this professional will have is to be qualified to intervene in the processing of raw materials, whether of animal origin, mineral or vegetable and that are used to achieve useful and valuable products.
It is worth mentioning that during the mentioned production process, the chemical engineer will have the responsibility to identify problems, plan objectives, make forecasts of time, need of materials and costs, and once an overview of the indicated is gathered, schedule the methodology in plant to carry it out. His presence and direction is important and he must be present and attentive to events from the beginning to the end of it.
