Apposition is called a form of grammatical construction that acts as sentence complement, the apposition gives a Additional Information on the subject, gives additional information on an adjective, on a verb or on some complement of the predicate.
Thus the apposition is information that it is written between two commas (when it is at the center of the sentence) or with a comma, if it is at the beginning or end of the sentence.
To be able to identify if an element of the sentence is a apposition, it must be possible to understand the text by removing the apposition without changing the main idea.
