Talado refers to the activity of felling or cutting down trees. Logging is one of the oldest activities that human beings carry out to use the natural resources that the medium provides and although it has always exercised it, it was not until relatively recently that it became a serious threat for environmental well-being and for the continuity of human life.
The felling of trees is carried out with the main objective of being able to use the natural resource that wood represents and its derivatives such as paper or cellulose. While wood can be used to make furniture, buildings, and numerous platforms, paper is used on a daily basis. The consumption exaggerated of these resources natural is what makes the environment suffer the consequences of abuse as it is not only consumed in large quantities but much of what is used is thrown away rather than recycled.
The felling of trees, although it is necessary in a certain sense so that man can provide himself with the resources mentioned, is a danger for several reasons. First, because trees are responsible for balancing the ratio of oxygen to carbon dioxide in the
air, producing the first and consuming the second. By lowering the number of trees and their natural reserves (forests and jungles), the Balance atmospheric, increasing carbon dioxide and thus raising the temperature general of the planet. At the same time, the uncontrolled felling of trees changes the disposition of soils and territory, making the land less fertile and, in addition, phenomena such as rain, generate serious consequences such as large floods in urban areas or moderately urban.
