A procedure is any type of action aimed at achieving an end. In everyday life we carry out procedures in the field labor, academic, banking, institutional, etc. As a general guideline, this is a mandatory requirement.
This form of formality can be very simple, for example a simple phone call to register for a service. Sometimes it is a set of procedures complex and carried out over a long period of time, such as with obtaining a new nationality.
To the margin from his simplicity or complexity, the procedures that are carried out are necessary requirements. Failure to carry out a procedure or procedure can cause all kinds of problems: fines, administrative irregularities, legal problems, etc.
Paperwork and the role of managers
As a general criterion, carrying out procedures is uncomfortable for most people, since their execution requires time and technical knowledge that are not always available. In Spanish, this discomfort is expressed in one word, paperwork.
To speed up the completion of paperwork, many people turn to managers or other professionals specialized in document management (notaries, lawyers, real estate managers ...). The figure of the manager has as its main objective the intermediation between its clients and public entities.
The online procedure
Traditionally, bureaucratic procedures have been carried out in person. This system is normally slow and is accompanied by the corresponding paperwork. In recent years, both private companies and the public administration They have incorporated online processing.
The virtual office of a private company usually provides information on contracts, and and invoices. Likewise, through this procedure it is possible to carry out all kinds of procedures: modify data, request certificates, request discounts, etc. Public entities also provide very extensive information and some procedures can be carried out at distance.
Among the various advantages of virtual processing, we can highlight some: the non-dependence on office hours, unnecessary waiting is avoided and the use of paper is reduced. Although virtual offices do not provide a personalized service, they are increasingly used in everyday life.
The expression "a mere formality"
In everyday language we use this expression to communicate that something must be done, but it is not something difficult and complex. It is also used to indicate that doing something should not cause concern or concern.
