A person is normally called a fool or animal that does not respond according to the appropriate or stipulated parameters of intelligence. The levels Nonsense can vary greatly, finding people just a little dumb and others with serious intelligence problems. Usually the adjective of fool is used with those people who do not have a disability very large and can be handled appropriately for most things or situations. However, the term is preferably considered a term of use. colloquial and with an important pejorative tinge since it is usually applied to people who do not show difficulties in their intelligence but who circumstantially make a mistake or fault.
There are many ways to say silly since this is a colloquial term, each regionshow different names or words. In some cases, words that are more aggressive and can certainly be harsh on sensitive people can be used instead.
But speaking of the concept itself, we can say that the fool is one who shows a relative difficulty to handle common activities or situations. For example, a person who does not know how to operate certain devices, who has difficulties to relate socially, etc. can be considered foolish. Many times, the word fool is also applied to people without any disability who make a circumstantial error, for example losing an item or money.
When talking about more serious cases in which note a clear inability to function independently e.g. to dress, to go out Street, to buy or to drive, you can also talk about the person being stupid, but possibly in these cases they tend to mention the specific condition of disability of the individual since, as has been said, the term fool is of colloquial use and does not imply serious complications or flashy.
