The longer words in the Spanish language, according to the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE), they have between 13 and 23 letters. For example: electroencephalographer (23 letters) and sternocleidomastoid (22 letters).
In general, long words are technical terms, little used and difficult to pronounce. For example: circumstantially.
They are also usually compound words, that is, they join two or more terms. For example: unconstitutionality.
According to the RAE, the 10 longest words in Spanish are the following:
