Few and Little are adjectives that in English are used to indicate a small amount of a noun.
The difference between few and Little is that:
It is important to remember that some nouns that are uncountable in Spanish are not in English and vice versa.
When these adjectives preceded by the article “a” are used, the amount has a positive meaning, as in Spanish it would be “a few” or “some” and “a little” “something”.
However, if they are used without “a”, their meaning is negative, as in Spanish it would be “few” or “little”.
They also have a negative meaning if "only" is added.
