The ellipsis (…) Are a punctuation mark consisting of three (always three) horizontally aligned dots in a row. Its name is due to the fact that an absence is introduced into the written speech, that is, a suspended portion of text.
The use of ellipsis is common in various forms of writing, usually at the beginning or end of the sentence, or surrounded by parentheses.
