The letter s is the twentieth letter of the Spanish alphabet, its origin is apparently Egyptian, where it was part of its alphabet representing the undulations of aquatic plants.
In its passage in the Phoenician alphabet, the plants were eliminated and represent the water waves where it resembled a w, later it passed to the Greek alphabet, where it was made up of three straight lines, which were put together and made up of the letters of the alphabet in Latin current.
The letter s can be found in different parts of the word, both at the beginning, in the middle or at the end, combining with all the vowels.
