The connector "thus”Belongs to the group of consequence connectors; It is used to introduce the effect or consequence of an action or a process. For example: The plane leaves at 3 p.m. and it's 2 p.m. thus, you won't be there in time to board it.
The connectors are words or expressions that allow us to indicate a relationship between two sentences or statements. The use of connectors favors the reading and comprehension of texts, since they provide coherence and cohesion.
Other consequence connectors are: so, consequently, then, so that, that is, therefore, therefore, due to, well, since, since.
