The negation adverbs they are those that are used to deny something that in the face of its omission would appear as positive. For example: no, never, ever.
The structure of the language assumes that it is not necessary to affirm the positive of what did happen, while it is necessary to express the negative when it is deals with events that did not occur: the adverbs of negation acquire importance, since their absence would make the sentence be understood exactly when reverse.
The adverbs of negation have certain typical characteristics of the adverbs: they do not vary in gender and number and act as nuclei of the circumstantial complements (in particular, the circumstantial denial).
