Am I going to be, am I going to do or am I going to do?
I'll be is the verbal periphrasis "go to" followed by the verb "to be" (Forever I'll be your friend). I'm going to do, for its part, is the same periphrasis combined with the verb "do" (I'm going to do dinner). IM going to doFinally, it is a grammatically incorrect phrase since the preposition "a" is missing, so it should always be avoided.
The sequences "I'm going to be" and "I'm going to do", for Spanish-speaking America (where the S and C are pronounced the same way), they sound phonetically the same, but their meaning is different and they are written different. In orality, when we hear any of these forms, we may not know how it is written, which is why confusion can be generated.
When is each used?
It should be remembered that both expressions are formed by the periphrasis go to +infinitive, which is used to formulate in the present an action that will be carried out in the future, either something planned or to be done in the immediate future. For example:
Tomorrow at this time already I'll be your wife; Not I'm going to do nothing to hurt your feelings.Examples of sentences with "I'm going to be"
