The defective verbs are those that, in some way, are "incomplete" because they do not have certain forms of conjugation.
Many of these verbs they describe meteorological phenomena, which are not specified by a specific subject but are always used in the third person. For example: llover, to snow, thunder or hail.
The same goes for actions like accustom, happen, soler,occur, for the same reason as with the meteorological ones, since in many occasions they are used in the third person, without specifying the subject.
