Subjective Description

The subjective description is the description in which the issuer intends to show his interpretation of something. In these descriptions, the priority is no longer to show some aspect of reality but the position and personal opinion of the issuer. For example: This house is really charming.

Characteristics of subjective descriptions

Subjective description places the sender of the message on a higher plane than the object itself. The exact representation of what you want to describe will no longer be paramount, but the author's interpretations will prevail. These visions will be loaded with your subjectivity, your particular experiences and your history.

However, the receiver is also modified: he must no longer be a receiver eager to know exactly the object to be described, but a receiver interested in knowing that object mediated by the subject's optics descriptor.

Subjective descriptions in science

It could be said, in advance, that subjective descriptions are practically absent from the sciences. The normal thing is that scientific texts abound objective descriptions that deal with referring to an object as it is seen.

However, social disciplines must necessarily fall back on subjective descriptions, insofar as their studies always need the observation of reality and characterization.
