The circumstantial complement of purpose adds information about the objective of the action. Answer the question What for? For example: Juan called his mother to ask for the recipe for green chicken.
The circumstantial they are a syntactic function of the predicate that provides information about the circumstances in which the action takes place.
On the other hand, for a circumstantial to be a circumstantial complement, it must be headed by a preposition. In the case of circumstantial purpose complement, it often begins with the preposition "for". For example: I bought chocolate to make a cake. The preposition (para) will function as a subordinate nexus and what follows (make a cake) will function as the complement term.
