In Spanish, there are very few words ending in -quin and, in most cases, it is nouns male. For example: adoredwho, arlewho, shelfwho.
Typically, the digraph WH- is combined with the vowels E or I, to represent a sound identical to that of the K or to the C with loud sound. For this reason, many words derived from others that contain C in front of an A or an O, are written with QU-, when they should sound strong in front of E or I. For example: hairwho, shovelwho. In many cases, all three spellings are accepted.
There are also some names that end in -quin. For example: mallorwho, marrowho, minorwho.
