Adjectives and Adverbs
The adjectives provide information regarding nouns, and agree on gender and number with the noun who are qualifying. Adjectives answer the question How is it going? or how is it? For example: home red, play fun.
The adverbs provide information on verbs, others adverbs or adjectives. Adverbs answer the questions ¿How do they do it? How?
In the Spanish language, an adjective can become an adverb if we add the ending -mind. For example: peaceful (adjective) - peacefulmind (adverb), happy (adjective) - happymind (adverb).
For example: The employees are happy because they have worked well. How are the employees? Happy (adjective) How have they done their job? Well (adverb)
