The indefinite pronouns they are words that take the place of a noun, without mentioning it. Indefinite pronouns do not refer to a specific person, idea, place or object, but serve to refer to any indeterminate subject affected by the predicate of the sentence.
The indefinite pronouns are used to refer to objects (meaning people, ideas and things), place and time: the most used in Spanish are the following:

As we observed, many of these indefinite pronouns are also used as quantifiers. To distinguish whether we are using a quantifier or an indefinite pronoun, we must see whether or not the subject's noun exists.
When they are together in the sentence and it acts by modifying the noun, then it is a quantifier.
When there is no noun in the sentence, but instead occupies its place, then it is an indefinite pronoun.
As a quantifier:
- Everyonechildren approved. (Everyone quantify the noun children).
- No oneof the group she came to the party. (No one quantify the noun of the group)
- So manymens and no gentleman. (So many quantify the noun mens)
