The derived nouns are those words that arise from a primitive noun and are formed by adding suffixes or prefixes to primitive or original words. For example: Baker(derived from the noun bread), hike (derived from the noun road), Butcher shop (derived from the noun meat).
Next, sentences with derived nouns will be exemplified. The primitive noun will be marked in bold and the different derived nouns in italics, and then in bold in the sentence.
