I saw her sitting by the river bank
Her impassive face, her lost gaze, and her smile,
Her smile, oh how not to notice it!
She was frank, sincere, and so beautiful that it lit up her face.
The deleted words are I, I saw and her smile. The complete sentences remain:
I saw her sitting on the river bank,
I saw her impassive face, I saw her lost gaze and I saw her smile,
Her smile, oh how not to notice it!
Her smile was frank, sincere, and so beautiful that it lit up her face.
Another example of ellipsis in poems is the following:
The dark, warm night set by the sound of cicadas
She witnessed our meeting, subtle and passionate.
That night the full moon with her light illuminated us,
But the clouds, accomplices of our love
They hid it to leave us in the shadows, without witnesses.

The night was dark, warm and acclimated by the sound of cicadas
The night witnessed our meeting, which was subtle and passionate
That night the full moon with her light illuminated us
But the clouds were accomplices of our love
