Example of Emotional Fallacy

Within logic, the fallacy It is an argument that at first seems valid and real, but it is not. The word fallacy comes from Latin would fail, which means deception. On some occasions, fallacies occur due to carelessness or lack of knowledge on the part of the person making the argument, however, some others are constructed intentionally, to manage to manipulate an audience, this occurs mainly within political communication or the mass media and information in general.
The first who began to study and write about fallacies in the field of logic was the Greek philosopher Aristotle, who in his text Sophistic rebuttals, established thirteen classes of fallacies.
Two great types of fallacies:
In general terms, one can speak of two great classes of fallacies: logical fallacies, which are constructed from errors or inaccuracies in the thought process, and the emotional fallacies, that are caused by emotional issues that affect the way of thinking and structuring the arguments.
Logical fallacies occur, for example, when making a generalization from a couple of cases about something, shown below:
- The boyfriends of two of my friends were unfaithful, so it can be said that all men are unfaithful.
In this case, we are talking about only two known cases, so it is not possible to make a generalization without falling into a fallacy.

3. This is a bad person, because when I saw her I felt a very ugly vibe.

5. That person is not trustworthy, I can tell from the gleam in his eyes.
6. I'm sure I'm going to get sick tomorrow, I have that feeling.
7. What this person thinks is the absolute truth, because he wears a white coat and therefore is a doctor and has a lot of knowledge.
8. The illness worsened when that person arrived, I know because I felt the bad energy from him.
9. The decision I made was the right one because I felt in my heart that it was the best for everyone.
10. Tall women are smarter because I say so and no one can contradict me.
11. That couple's relationship is not good, I can tell from the way he looked at it.
12. That person doesn't do her job well, because I didn't feel very confident talking to her.
13. Dogs are the noblest animals that exist, because when you pet them you feel a great peace.
14. The older candidate is more qualified because I say so, and with all my experience I cannot be wrong.
15. Children are smarter than adults because I feel that their answers are more accurate.
16. I can assure you that this person is going to cause us a lot of problems, because I felt a lot of aggression from him when he shook my hand.
17. This company you are starting is going to fail, I feel like it will, I don't know why.
18. The new movie is not going to be good, I feel like they will never be able to do something as high-quality as the previous one.
19. It is true that bad people go to hell, because no one has ever been able to deny it.
20. Claudia's party won't be fun, I feel like no one is going to go.
