The compound times are those that are conjugated from two verb forms: the verb to have (conjugated in one of the indicative or subjunctive tenses) and a verb in participle (ending -ado, -ido, -to, -so, -cho).

What are the compound times?
In Spanish there are 8 compound tenses: 5 compound tenses of the indicative mood and three compound tenses of the subjunctive mood. Each of these times is briefly explained below.
Compound tenses in the indicative mood
The composite indicative tenses are:
