A word family It is a group of words that share the same lexeme or root. Also called "lexical families", they are made up of primitive words (wind) and their derived words: ventisca, ventbear, ventear.
In this case, the lexeme or root is wind- or vent-, depending on which is the derivation. Derived words can be formed by adding morphemes, for example:
Waterwindor | ventear | ventiscoso |
barloventor | ventillation | ventolera |
shortwindyou | ventilator | ventolina |
breakswindyou | ventilar | ventbear |
jackventor | ventisca | windito |
ventarrĂ³n | ventiscar | windyou |
