The postpreterite verbs are those that indicate that the action may occur in the event that another happens before it, In other words, this type of verb requires another to be conjugated and that it can be in any weather.
These are also known as hypothetical or conditional future, since they express a verb tense that describes an action that would happen if a certain condition is met, for example: If I were rich, I would buy a lot clothing.
The postpreterite verbs they are also used to formulate a request with kindness for example: Could you give me the keys?
