Juxtaposed sentences are a type of compound sentences that are characterized by having two suborations (or propositions) separated by a eat (,), colon (:), or a semicolon (; ).
For example: The band is playing, we can stay a little longer.
Like all compound sentences, have more than one verb conjugated to different subjects. Furthermore, in juxtaposed sentences each proposition makes sense on its own, as can be seen in the previous example.
