In both English and Spanish, sentences are a set of words (or in some cases a single word), which has syntactic autonomy.

Sentences are then those that make up a unit of meaning, and it is through them that speakers manage to express a logical proposition. Every prayer should always begin with capital letter and end with a point.

When it comes to translating a sentence from English to Spanish, there are certain tips that can be taken into account. For example, if the sentence uses the expressions Will or Going To (I will go to the cinema this weekend / I am going to Cuba this summer), we must know that it refers to an action that will occur in the future.

Now if the verb ends with -ing (For example: eating) we must know that it is a gerund, which in Spanish could be translated as –ando (A.MI walk) or -endo (ateendo).

Whereas, if the verb ends with –Ed (listened) generally refers to an action that happened in the past (listensRon)
