In this way, the time frame of the zero conditional sentences can be 'now' or 'forever' (as a timeless present), and the situation described must be real.
When in English we speak of zero conditional sentences, we are referring to conditional sentences in which its two clauses are in simple present. The negative zero conditional sentences have the peculiarity that one of its clauses gives an account of what does not happen when what is referred to in the other clause happens.
Let us remember that conditional sentences are always made up of two clauses or propositions, in which a mark what (does not) happen / will happen / would happen as a natural or logical and inevitable consequence, if something else happens / happened / would have happened. In the negative zero conditional, then, it is indicated what not would happen if something else happened.
In negative zero conditional sentences the element that logically connects both clauses is always 'If' (equivalent to 'yes'). In common zero conditional, the connector can be 'If' or 'When'.
