The word "cabo" it's a masculine noun which can be used in both singular and plural and is polysemic, that is, it has many meanings. It can indicate the extreme of a thing (The cape the rope was slack), a point of land that penetrates into the sea (The cape it's a landform) or a military position (The capes they formalized a complaint against the head of the regiment).
It can also be used as a prepositional phrase with the meaning of "after". For example: To the cape After a while, they left for the farm.
Not to be confused with your homophone “Cavo”, which refers to the first person of the verb “dig” and is written with “v”. For example: Dig a well to build a cistern.
