"Some" and "any" are the plurals of the indeterminate article "a". They mean "Some”(With different meanings according to the sentence), and depending on what they refer to, they can fulfill the function of adjectives, pronoun or adverb (in informal language).
The difference between some and any the thing is some is used in affirmative sentences while any it is used in negative sentences (meaning "none") and interrogatives.
The only cases in which some is used in interrogations is to ask or offer something.
