The disjunctive connectors They are links that are used to raise options within the same sentence. These connectors indicate a relationship of choice or difference between two concepts. For example: We can go to the movies or to the theater tonight.
The connectors They are the words or expressions that allow us to indicate a relationship between two sentences or statements. The use of connectors favors the reading and comprehension of texts since they provide coherence and cohesion.

The use of commas
To be more specific, the disjunctive connectors express two options. However, in the same sentence there may be more options. It happens that, in the Spanish language, when more than two options are presented, commas must be used. For example: We can travel to Spain, France or Germany.
In this example several options are presented. However, only at the junction of the last two, the connector "o" is presented.
The U connector exception
The connector U is used as long as the word to be joined begins with the letter O (or with the letter H before the O)
