The connector "in front of" belongs to the group of spatial connectors; in a general way, it indicates that what is being talked about is in a previous position with respect to another, or opposite. It is often followed by a complement headed by the preposition from, which indicates the term that is taken as reference. For example: We're in front of from your house.
The connectors are words or expressions that allow us to indicate a relationship between two sentences or statements. The use of connectors favors the reading and comprehension of texts since they provide coherence and cohesion.
