An adjective is a word that is used to modify a noun or another word, describing it, limiting it or qualifying it. Quantifying adjectives modify the noun by indicating its quantity.
There are several types of quantifying adjectives:
Numeral adjectives. Numeral adjectives are those that express the specific number of individuals or objects that we are talking about. There are three types of numeral adjectives: cardinal, ordinal, and fractional.
The cardinal numerals are the adjectives that indicate the amount. One, two, fourteen. They modify the noun indicating how many individuals or objects we are talking about:
One car on the Street.
Three sad tigers.
Fourteen years old.
Ordinal numerals They are also quantifying adjectives that help us to indicate the place that a noun occupies in a numerical sequence:
First place.
Twelfth Boy Scouts Meeting.
Fiftieth Anniversary.
Fractional numerals We use them as quantifying adjectives when we speak of a part or fraction of a noun:
Half an hour.
A quarter of cheese.
Two fifths of mile.
Quantifiers. The quantifiers are words that indicate a quantity in generic form, that is, it does not speak of an exact number, but they are expressions such as some, all, none, a few. These words function as adjectives or indefinite pronouns. When they function as adjectives, they always modify a noun. Some of these quantifiers work with countable nouns and others with uncountable nouns. You can see a more extensive explanation here. Some of the most used quantifiers are:

none (none)
every (all, every)

someone
something
any (some, no)

anything (something, nothing)
much (much)
many (much, many)
