The words esdrújulas are those that have the accent on the penultimate syllable, that is, the last syllable is tonic because it is pronounced with greater force or intensity compared to the other unstressed syllables of the word.
According to accentuation rules, the words esdrújulas they always have an accent; however, there is an exception to this rule: The words esdrújulas do not have an accent if they are adjectives ending in -mind. This is because adverbs ending in -mind they have their own rules of accentuation: they maintain the original accentuation of the adjectives from which they are derived.
For instance:
