Leading questions

The trick questions are Word games which consist of asking misleading and confusing questions. For instance: What happened yesterday in London from eight to nine? (solution: an hour passed).

These questions have a trap, because they are formulated in such a way that it seems that their answer is simple but in fact it is not.

In some cases, the answer is found in the same question, but covertly. For instance: Is it true that Paris begins with P and ends with T?Solution: Yes, it is true, because the word "Paris" begins with P and the word "ends" begins with T. The question is confusing, because most listeners tend to believe that Paris ends with T.

Leading questions are used for entertainment or as a mental activity to practice logical reasoning.

1. It is something that belongs to you, but that other people use more than you, what is it? (solution: your name)
2. What does it take to light a candle? (solution: that the candle is out)
3. He has cat whiskers, but he is not a cat; he has cat eyes, but he is not a cat and he has cat ears, but he is not a cat, what is he? (solution: a cat)

4. A truck driver went down a street in the wrong direction, ten policemen saw him, but they did not say anything to him, why? (solution: because the trucker walked past)
5. He shaves all day, but he still has a beard, who is he? (solution: the barber)
6. Some months have thirty days and others thirty-one, but how many months have twenty-eight? (solution: every month has at least 28 days)
7. What object gets wet when it dries? (solution: the towel)
8. How do you draw a square with three lines? (solution: first draw the square and then draw the three lines inside the square)
9. What weighs more, a kilo of lead or a kilo of feathers? (solution: they both have the same weight because they weigh one kilo)
10. What is the only thing that has a face, but does not have a body? (solution: a coin)
11. What can you grasp with your right hand, but never with your left hand? (solution: your left hand)
12. If a baby is born in Chile, but moves to Peru, where do its teeth grow? (solution: teeth grow in mouth)
13. What color are the black boxes on airplanes? (solution: they are oranges)
14. Which sentence is correct: the penguins fly or the penguin flies? (solution: none, because penguins don't fly)
15. What is it that you can never eat for breakfast? (solution: lunch, snack and dinner)
16. If an electric train goes from east to west, where does the smoke go? (solution: nowhere, because electric trains don't smoke)
17. What is it that the bigger it is, the less it can be seen? (solution: darkness)
18. Before knowing about the existence of Everest, what was the highest mountain in the world? (solution: Everest, because although Everest was not known to exist, it was the highest mountain in the world)
19. It has four legs, but it does not walk, what is it? (solution: a table)
20. Where is Thursday before Wednesday? (solution: in dictionary)
21. If you name it, it disappears, what is it? (solution: silence)
22. Where are the rivers that have no water? (solution: on the map)
